Elf Panic Button is a mobile and web app that helps parents come up with creative holiday elf scene ideas. You can tap a button to get a random scene, generate a funny excuse for why the elf didn't move, save scenes to a December calendar, and track household supplies to get matching ideas.

You can try the app without creating an account. The Panic Button and Generate Excuse features are free for 3 uses. After that, you'll be prompted to sign up and purchase the Season Pass to keep using them. The free trial is per device — clearing your browser data will reset the counter.

The Season Pass is a yearly subscription that costs $6.99 per year and unlocks unlimited scene generation, the December calendar, favorites, and nightly reminders. Payment is processed by Stripe — we don't store your card details.

Automatic renewal. The Season Pass is a yearly subscription that automatically renews at $6.99 unless you cancel. Renewal happens on the anniversary of your original purchase date — you'll be charged on that same date each year.

Renewal reminder. You will receive an email reminder from Stripe before each renewal so you have time to cancel if you no longer want the subscription.

Canceling. You can cancel anytime via Account Settings → Manage Billing. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period — you keep full access until that date, and the subscription will not renew after it.

Access after cancellation. After the paid period ends, your account reverts to the free tier (3 free scene generations per device). You can re-subscribe at any time.

Because the Season Pass is a low-cost digital subscription and you get 3 free tries before paying, all sales are final and refunds are not offered. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the features you paid for, contact us at the email below and we'll work with you to resolve it — including a manual refund if the issue can't be fixed.

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Don't share your login with others. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and let us know.

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Deleting your account erases your elf names, settings, supplies, calendar entries, and favorites. If you'd like to delete your account but can't access the app, email us and we'll do it for you.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent the free trial, or violate these terms.

All scene ideas, excuses, and suggestions generated by this app are for entertainment and parenting-inspiration purposes only. They're meant to spark creativity — not as instructions for anything that could be unsafe. Use your own judgment when setting up scenes, especially around small children. We're not responsible for any damage, injury, or mess that results from acting on any idea in the app.

The app's design, code, and curated scene content are owned by Elf Panic Button. You may not copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app. Scene ideas you generate and save are yours to use personally.

We work hard to keep the app running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or issues beyond our control may cause temporary downtime. We're not liable for any inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

If we update these terms, we'll change the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
